What the Process?

Before your wedding day - We will have a complementary initial consultation, where you will tell me about your ideas, your dates and budget, the things that you want to include. This first consultation is complementary. By the end of our conversation, I will be able to give you a firm price for my planning fee, which will compensate me for research and exploration of options. - In a week or so, I will give you three or four suggestions that could work for you, and then you can give me feedback on what you like or don’t like about each idea. - From there, we will continue to discuss options and narrow down the choices until we come up with the right choice for your travel adventure. I do not charge for additional consultations; we can go back and forth as many times as we need to! Once we have made firm decisions, I will book the options you have chosen, and provide you with a detailed itinerary. I will monitor the choices we have made, and will notify you of any price drops. If international travel is involved, we will develop a timeline to ensure you have the necessary travel documents, visas, and vaccinations. A week or two prior to your travel I will schedule a call with you to review the itinerary, go through your travel documents, and answer any questions you may have. While you are traveling I will be just a phone call away! If anything unexpected happens, I will work to resolve the issue while you continue to enjoy your travels.

  • 12+ months before the Wedding - What is your wedding vision and budget? - If planning a Destination Wedding, establish budget and research location options - If planning a Wedding near your home, decide on single-day or multi-day wedding schedule - Will you want to have the wedding in one location and an additional celebration / reception / event in another location?
  • - Will you want to have a honeymoon immediately after the wedding, or will you wait until later? 9-12 months before the Wedding - Book your Wedding venue - Set a budget and research Honeymoon options: one destination or multiple places? Land-based or cruise? Relaxed or active? - Research options for Hotel Room Blocks for guests that will be coming from out of town 6-9 Months before the Wedding - Select and book Honeymoon accommodations and flights - Select and book Hotel Room Blocks for guests that will be coming from out of town. - With your wedding party, set a budget and research a destination for Wedding Party Getaways.
  • - With your wedding party, decide on a location for Wedding Party Getaways, and book accommodations for each participant. 4-5 months before the wedding - Book Wedding Party Getaway flights; research and book activities and events for the group. - Select and book Honeymoon excursions and special events.
